Generation Plants
Power generation is the process by which a primary source - such as the sun, wind, water, fossil fuels or hydrogen - is transformed into usable electricity for human, industrial or urban consumption. This process is fundamental to the development of modern society, as it powers homes, factories, infrastructure and transport systems. There are multiple generation technologies, both renewable and conventional, each with its advantages, limitations and environmental impacts. The current challenge is to ensure sufficient, sustainable and clean energy production to meet growing demand without compromising the planet's balance.

Offshore Wind Farms
IPROCEL has participated in some of the major offshore wind energy developments in Europe and America, which has consolidated its position as a strategic supplier in the offshore wind sector. The company has provided supervision and commissioning services for wind turbines (WTG) and electrical evacuation systems, both in offshore and onshore substations, in projects such as Baltic Eagle (477 MW, Germany, 2021), Saint Brieuc (496 MW, France, 2021) and Vineyard Wind (800 MW, USA, 2022).
This experience allows us to add value in highly demanding environments, meeting the highest standards of quality, safety and technical efficiency.

Onshore Wind Farms
In the field of onshore wind energy, IPROCEL has been actively involved in providing engineering services in nearly 700 MW of installed capacity in projects implemented in various regions of the world. Our intervention ranges from detailed engineering and owner's engineering to the supervision of electromechanical assembly and commissioning of generation and evacuation systems.
This combination of specialised services has allowed us to consolidate our position as a key player in the international expansion of onshore wind energy, offering our clients efficient, reliable execution aligned with the technical and regulatory requirements of each project.

Photovoltaic Plants
IPROCEL has played a key role in the development and execution of more than 2,752 MW of solar PV plants in Europe, South America and Africa. Our involvement encompasses engineering, technical supervision and commissioning services, with a focus on operational efficiency and ensuring maximum performance from day one of operation.
Thanks to our extensive experience in large-scale photovoltaic projects in countries such as Spain, South Africa, Mexico, Portugal and Chile, we are positioned as a reliable technical partner for developers, utilities and EPC contractors looking for solvent, flexible solutions adapted to the specific requirements of each project.

Solar Thermal Plants
IPROCEL has participated in the assembly and commissioning of nearly 2 GW of installed capacity in solar thermal plants located in some of the main countries in the development of this technology, such as Spain, South Africa, Morocco and Israel. Our experience covers both tower plants and installations with parabolic trough collectors, which allows us to adapt to different designs and technological configurations.
Thanks to a high degree of technical specialisation and in-depth knowledge of operational, regulatory and environmental requirements in diverse and demanding environments, IPROCEL has established itself as an international benchmark in the field of solar thermal generation, offering tailor-made solutions for highly complex projects.

Hydroelectric Power Plants
IPROCEL has participated in hydroelectric projects totalling more than 280 MW of installed capacity, providing engineering, electromechanical assembly, testing, commissioning and operation services. Our experience includes power plants in Spain and Peru, as well as recent work for Iberdrola in several operating facilities. This experience allows us to provide reliable technical solutions adapted to the specific requirements of each power plant.

Conventional Generation
Since 1993, when we executed the commissioning of the Barranco de Tirajana diesel power plant in Gran Canaria, IPROCEL has participated in the implementation of approximately 39 GW of installed capacity in thermal power plants. We have been involved in all the thermal power plants in the Canary Islands, consolidating our experience in island and isolated environments.
Our first international experience was in Jamaica, and since then we have expanded our activity to more than 40 countries in 4 continents. This global trajectory has allowed us to position ourselves as a technical partner of reference for clients who demand reliability, in-depth knowledge of the environment and excellence in the execution of conventional generation systems.

Other Technologies (BESS, Green Hydrogen...)
IPROCEL has begun to deploy its experience in innovative projects linked to energy storage and green hydrogen, consolidating its position as a technical supplier in emerging technologies. In the field of battery storage (BESS), we have executed commissioning and assembly works of electrical substations associated with stand-alone systems in the United States and the Canary Islands, ensuring an efficient and safe integration into the grid. We also have the technical capacity to provide engineering, supervision and commissioning services in all phases of the life cycle of green hydrogen projects, including electrolysis plants, compression and storage systems, and their associated electrical infrastructures.
