Saint Brieuc Offshore Wind Farm

Scope of the project

IPROCEL has actively participated in the development of the Saint Brieuc Offshore Wind Farm, with an installed capacity of 496 MW, promoted by Iberdrola off the coast of Brittany, France. Completed in 2025, this project is one of the largest offshore wind developments in Europe and represents a key milestone in the country's energy transition.
Our scope has encompassed highly specialised coordination, supervision and support services in commissioning activities, covering multiple systems and project infrastructures:
- Offshore substation: coordination and supervision of the commissioning of the main systems, guaranteeing the operability of the equipment and its integration with the global system.
- Wind turbines: technical supervision of the contractor's activities, verification of signals and coordination with safety teams to ensure smooth and efficient commissioning.
- SCADA system: management of the commissioning process in the onshore environment, support in the integration with the customer's CORE, supervision of export cable testing and commissioning of the systems in port facilities.
- Testing and acceptance: participation in factory acceptance testing (FAT) and technical support during the commissioning of the offshore substation, the onshore substation and the turbine pre-assembly phase, until final commissioning at the offshore site.
With its participation in Saint Brieuc, IPROCEL consolidates its experience in the offshore sector, demonstrating its capacity to tackle projects of high technical complexity in demanding environments and reinforcing its position as a reference partner in the commissioning of large offshore wind farms at an international level.
