IPROCEL is collaborating in the development of the Baltic Eagle Offshore Wind Farm, a 477 MW facility located in the waters of the Baltic Sea, off the German coast, promoted by Iberdrola. Currently under execution, this project is one of the great European bets for offshore wind energy and represents a new step in the consolidation of the offshore market in Northern Europe.
Our involvement includes coordination, supervision and technical support services for all commissioning activities carried out by the various project providers:
- Offshore substation: coordination of the commissioning of the electrical, control and protection systems, ensuring their functional integration with the rest of the farm's infrastructures.
- Wind turbines: supervision of the main contractor's work, validation of signals with the client's SCADA and operational coordination to ensure compliance with deadlines and safety protocols.
- SCADA system: management of the onshore commissioning process, support in export cable testing, coordination of system interoperability testing and commissioning of SCADA systems at port facilities.
- FAT and field activities: assistance and supervision in factory acceptance tests and during the commissioning of the offshore electrical substation, the onshore substation and the turbine pre-assembly phase.
With Baltic Eagle, IPROCEL reinforces its presence in the European offshore sector, providing its technical expertise in high-level projects and positioning itself as a key player in the implementation and commissioning of large offshore wind generation infrastructures.
