Vineyard Offshore Wind Farm

Scope of the project

IPROCEL is actively participating in the development of the Vineyard Offshore Wind Farm, an ambitious 800 MW project located off the east coast of the United States and promoted by Iberdrola. Currently in the execution phase, Vineyard is one of the largest offshore wind projects in America, key to the country's energy transition towards renewable sources.
The scope of services provided by IPROCEL covers the coordination, supervision and support in all commissioning activities carried out by the different contractors:
- Coordination and supervision of the commissioning of offshore and onshore substations, ensuring the correct integration and operation of the electrical and control systems.
- Supervision of the wind turbine contractor's activities, ensuring proper planning, coordination with the safety team and point-to-point validation of signals with the customer's SCADA system.
- Management of the ground range commissioning process, including participation in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), cold testing and ongoing support until handover to the Operation and Maintenance team.
- Support in the supervision of export cable testing, coordination of interoperability testing of control and protection systems, and commissioning of SCADA systems at port facilities to ensure the operability of the control centre.
IPROCEL consolidates its technical leadership in large-scale offshore wind projects, bringing value to complex environments and contributing to the advancement of renewable energy in the United States.
