IPROCEL participated in the testing and commissioning activities of the Yanango Hydroelectric Power Plant, with an installed capacity of 42 MW, located in Peru. This project was key to the company's international expansion, marking one of the first milestones in our presence in the Latin American market.
The scope of work included:
- Coordination and execution of functional and operational tests of electrical and control systems.
- Supervision and verification of the correct operation of generation and protection equipment.
- Comprehensive commissioning, ensuring the integration of all subsystems for safe and efficient operation.
This project represented one of IPROCEL's first steps outside Spain, laying the foundations for its international growth and consolidating its experience in hydroelectric technology in the Peruvian market,
