IPROCEL carried out the electromechanical assembly and commissioning works at the Teeside biomass plant, a 300 MW facility located in the county of North Yorkshire, United Kingdom, promoted by Técnicas Reunidas. This is one of the largest plants of its kind in Europe, and the scope in which we worked from IPROCEL was:
- Execution of the assembly of medium and low voltage electrical systems, control and protection equipment, as well as integration of transformation centres.
- Installation of auxiliary electrical systems and connection of main equipment in accordance with the customer's quality and safety standards.
- Supervision and testing of electrical and automation systems prior to commissioning.
- Coordination of the commissioning of systems, from signal verification to start-up of major equipment, ensuring a smooth transition to commercial operation.
This was the second project in which IPROCEL had the opportunity to participate in the UK, providing continuity to its presence in the country and reaffirming its commitment to working in the UK market.
