The Rosario Combined Cycle Power Plant, located in Argentina and with an installed capacity of 800 MW, was developed by Duro Felguera and represents one of the key projects within IPROCEL's experience in the country. Throughout its history, IPROCEL has participated in several combined cycle plants in Argentina, consolidating its position as a leading technical supplier in one of the most important energy markets in Latin America.
The scope of commissioning works included:
- Verification and functional testing of electrical and control systems, both in the gas turbine block and in the steam turbine block.
- Testing of auxiliary systems associated with the water-steam cycle, cooling systems, water treatment and fuel systems.
- Coordination of integrated testing between different generation equipment and distributed control systems (DCS).
- Checking the correct communication and protection of substations and evacuation lines.
- Technical assistance during initial start-up and synchronisation of the units with the network.
This project reinforces IPROCEL's presence in Argentina, a country where the company has been able to adapt to the needs of the conventional energy sector, offering a technical service specialised in combined cycle power plants with high quality standards.
