The Agua Prieta Combined Cycle Power Plant, with 450 MW of capacity and located in Sonora, Mexico, is one of the many projects in which IPROCEL has participated in this key market, where it has accumulated more than 15 years of experience. Mexico is a strategic country for the company, where it has developed a wide range of technical services throughout its history. In this project, IPROCEL carried out commissioning works with an approach adapted to combined cycle technology, covering:
- Supervision and testing of electrical and protection systems.
- Verification of gas and steam turbines.
- Testing and adjustment of control and auxiliary systems.
- Support during synchronisation and initial operation.
This action helped to strengthen IPROCEL's position in Mexico as a reliable supplier for complex energy projects, and to this day it continues to provide this type of services in the country in a variety of Combined Cycle Power Plants.
