The 350 MW Ashuganj South Combined Cycle Power Plant, located in the district of Brahmanbaria (Bangladesh), was a key project to strengthen the country's electricity grid. IPROCEL participated together with Isolux Corsán providing commissioning services, consolidating its presence in conventional generation in Asia.
The scope of work included:
- Validation of high and medium voltage electrical systems, including protections and automatisms.
- Operational testing of the gas turbine, recovery boiler (HRSG) and steam turbine.
- Distributed Control System (DCS) configuration and integration.
- Technical support during start-up, synchronisation and load testing.
With this project, IPROCEL strengthened its position as a technical partner in combined cycle plants at international level, as well as its ability to adapt to different environments and countries.
