Los Cóndores Diesel Power Plant, with a capacity of 100 MW, located in Chile, is a key infrastructure for energy supply in the region. IPROCEL, in collaboration with the TSK Group, assumed an integral role in this project, executing both the electromechanical assembly and commissioning services, consolidating its experience in large diesel power plants.
The scope of work included:
- Complete electromechanical assembly of diesel generator sets, auxiliary systems and electrical equipment.
- Installation and connection of medium and low voltage systems, protections and automatisms.
- Verification and functional tests during assembly to ensure correct integration of systems.
- Commissioning of generator sets, including start-up, synchronisation and load testing.
- Coordination with the customer to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant from day one.
With this project, IPROCEL strengthened its capacity to offer comprehensive services in conventional generation, and continued its growth in Chile, where we continue to have a permanent presence through our subsidiary.
