The 250 MW Azito IV Combined Cycle Power Plant, located on the outskirts of Abidjan (Ivory Coast), is one of the main electricity generation infrastructures in the country. IPROCEL participated in this project together with the Cobra Group, providing commissioning services in a market where it has a direct presence through a subsidiary and in which it has been developing activity continuously in recent years, strengthening its expansion in West Africa.
The scope of work included:
- Validation of high and medium voltage electrical systems, including protections and automatisms.
- Operational testing of the gas turbine, recovery boiler (HRSG) and steam turbine.
- Distributed Control System (DCS) configuration and integration.
Technical support during start-up, synchronisation and load testing.
IPROCEL's experience in Azito IV consolidated its position as a technical partner in conventional generation projects in emerging markets on the African continent.
