IBERDROLA awards IPROCEL commissioning supervision services for Vineyard offshore wind farm in Massachusetts

IPROCEL will carry out engineering and commissioning services for the Vineyard 800MW wind farm, IBERDROLA's first offshore project in the United States. The scope of the project, which will have an estimated duration of two years, includes commissioning supervision services for the substation and WTGs. These services will be performed both in the onshore phase, located at the shipyard's facilities in Denmark, and in the offshore phase, which will be developed in Massachusetts.

The Vineyard wind farm will be located 24 km off the US coast, with a capacity of 800MW, which will supply the demand of more than 400,000 homes and businesses in the state of Massachusetts.

The award of this project confirms IPROCEL's positioning in the United States, where it has been present since 2014. It also consolidates its presence in the field of offshore renewable energies, where the company is currently participating in the commissioning of the Baltic Eagle 476MW offshore wind projects in Germany and Saint Brieuc 468MW in France.
