IPROCEL carried out the commissioning services at the Jorf Lasfar cogeneration plant, located in the industrial complex of the same name, on the Atlantic coast of Morocco. With a capacity of 120 MW and promoted by Intecsa, this installation was the first experience of the company in the commissioning of a cogeneration plant in the country.
The scope of work included:
- Functional verification of electrical equipment, control systems and protections.
- Integration and communication tests between systems, ensuring the correct coordination of all subsystems.
- Progressive commissioning of the main equipment, including turbines, boilers and auxiliary systems.
- Continuous technical support during the start-up, synchronisation and initial operation phases of the plant.
This project marked a milestone for IPROCEL, consolidating its presence in Morocco in the field of conventional generation, opening the door to future collaborations in complex industrial installations.
