IPROCEL has executed the electromechanical assembly works of the 110 MW Malgarida photovoltaic plant, located in the commune of Diego de Almagro, Atacama region (northern Chile). This installation is part of the Malgarida I and II complex, a key project for the production of solar energy in one of the areas with the highest radiation levels on the planet.
The scope of work has included:
- Assembly of medium-voltage structures, panels and main equipment.
- Installation and connection of electrical and control systems.
- Integration of auxiliary equipment and protection systems.
-Technical coordination on site to ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards.
This project was one of the three photovoltaic plants in which IPROCEL had the opportunity to intervene in Chile during 2020, strengthening its presence in the country as a specialised provider of engineering services for renewable installations.
